The greatest band that never hit the big time- JELLYFISH. Artist like Brian Wilson, Brian May, and Ringo loved this band when they came out in the 90s and even invited the band to work with them. Harry Nillson said they were his favorite band, right before he passed away. The band deserves so much more than what it got and they broke up after only 2 perfect albums.
People saw their fun appearance and dismissed them as cartoonish when they were probably better musicians and writers than most of their peers during this time.
Spilt Milk and Bellybutton, both of their albums are masterpieces, but my personal favorite is Spilt Milk which is an album centered on dreams. It’s glorious.
